Fluent Worry, Foreign Resolutions

Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up.
Proverbs 12:25 NLT

Worry becomes a highly concentrated emotion.

More so than joy, peace, positive expectations. We allow worry to be with us all day. To feel, direct thought, guide words, and ultimately, lead actions.

And if worry is not overpowered by other emotion, not words, then worry becomes the ruler because it's the dominant feeling.

Multiple scriptures encourage us not to worry or directly question it. Maybe that's because we unconsciously will gorge on worry and this detracts us from hearing from God.

Worry prohibits belief. It's all consuming and never satisfied if left unchecked.

We can be more emotionally invested about what worry says than being emotionally invested about what the Word says. No matter how much favor, promise or blessings could come, worry robs the possibility of joy, even more so, certainty.

Father God, I choose to release worry while accepting excellence in my circumstances. And I don't just think it. It's said, thought, and acted on because I feel and know it's real.  Today I will challenge worry tougher than resolution. Amen🙌🏿
